Autopsy Ordered in Urban Fashion Designer's Death
LRG's Jonas Bevacqua, 33, was found in his Laguna Beach home Monday night.
An autopsy has been scheduled Wednesday on hip-hop clothing designer Jonas Bevacqua, who was found dead Monday in his Laguna Beach home.
The 33-year-old fashion guru, a co-founder of the influential Irvine-based company LRG (Lifted Research Group), was discovered about 8 p.m. in his Bern Drive home, according to Jim Amormino, spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner.
There were no obvious causes of death, Amormino said: No signs of trauma or suicide. Bevacqua had been dead about nine hours when his body was found, according to coroner records.

Robert Wright, LRG's chief executive and company co-founder, and Charlie Moothart, another co-founder, called Bevacqua a visionary icon.
"Jonas was a star who burned brightly in the sky and who is gone far too soon,'' they wrote on the company's website. "There is a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. He will always be loved and missed by his friends, family, and all those he inspired. He is in a better place and will be watching over us always.''
