TOULOUSE ENGELHARDT AT THE LIBRARY
Where/When: , 363 Glenneyre St. Friday, 7 p.m.
Why go: Listen to the resounding acoustic guitar pickings of Engelhardt in an intimate venue surrounded by books, presented by the .
Price: Free.

RITA RUDNER AT THE PLAYHOUSE
Where/When: , 606 Laguna Canyon Rd., Friday, Saturday and Monday at 7 p.m. Also Saturday at 2 p.m.
Why go: Enjoy a good laugh when you come to hear comedian Rita Rudner spout wit and clever one-liners during this exclusive engagement.
Price: $50 to $65 (discounts available for students, teachers, military personnel and groups of 10 or more attending the same event).

CELEBS GALORE AT THE FESTIVAL OF ARTS
Where/When: Festival of Arts grounds, 650 Laguna Canyon Rd. Saturday (event starts at 4:30 p.m. for ticket holders and those who want to attend on a first-come first-serve basis, as occupancy is limited).
Why go: Singer/songwriter Richard Marx performs and announces the winning raffle ticket that wins a brand new Acura ZDX (valued over $50,000). Also in attendance: fabulous celebs like Camryn Manheim (Ghost Whisperer), Greg Grunberg (Heroes, and the airplane pilot from Lost who got totally eaten by the black smoke monster), Alfre Woodard (Memphis Beat, but did you seen her in Passion Fish? Amazing flick!), Richard Karn (Home Improvement and Family Feud host), Marion Ross (Ayyy, Mrs. C!) and LeVar Burton (Kunta! Geordi!).
Price: Price: $7 adults, $4 seniors and students, free for Laguna Beach residents, children under 12 and Pageant of the Masters ticketholders.

TRASHPRETTY END OF SUMMER CONCERT
Where/When: vintage clothing boutique, 1103 S. Coast Hwy. Saturday (starts at 1 p.m.)
Why go: Eight bands and a DJ, including Mr. Elevator & the Brain Hotel, Your Ugly Sister, the Flytraps, Cazador, Keepers of the Sun, the Lovely Bad Things, Tomorrow's Tulips, and DJ Wylie.
Price: $8, including refreshments and non-alcoholic drinks.
