About That Sweat Lodge in Bluebird Canyon ...
.....
Fans of Patch's crazy-popular crime blotter CSI: Laguna Beach will recall this particular edition a couple weeks back, when we reported on a January 22 incident in Bluebird Canyon where some dude was caught peeing on some bushes outside a residence.
That led to Laguna Beach cops coming out and discovering that the bladder-flatterer had been partaking in a Native American sweat lodge ceremony on the property with some 25 other perspiring peeps.
Surely there had to be more to this story, and now, there is. According to this story in the Coastline Pilot, the sweat lodge ceremonies are conducted by Andrew Soliz in his backyard several times a month. Soliz, a Native American who moved to Laguna about three months ago, has helmed sweat lodge ceremonies around the U.S. for 12 years.
And of course, he's got a website, Alchemy of the Heart. Steamy!

I think it is wonderful that the community of Laguna Beach is continuing to grow more diverse and representative of our nation as a whole. It is wonderful to have this positive energy in the community!
