Rare opportunity for dancers to learn under a top dancer from America's revered troupe

The Laguna Dance Festival will bring Hope Boykin of the Alvin Ailey American American Dance Theatre to Laguna Beach to teach a master class for dancers age 11 and older and of intermediate and higher level. One of the company's top dancers, The New York Times wrote that she "stood out...like a small force of nature on the stage..."

On Tuesday, March 25 from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Boykin will teach technique, repertory, and answer questions about life in one of the nation's most revered and well-known companies. Class will be held in the dance studio at Laguna Beach High School Dance Studio, 625 Park Avenue, Laguna Beach. $25 per dancer, $15 to observe class. Space is limited. Register today at lagunadancefestival.org.
