Animal Shelter Closing Temporarily

The Laguna Beach Animal Shelter will close temporarily beginning Monday, the city announced.

The closure will extend through Sunday, Nov. 17 to allow crews to resurface the kennel floors, which are currently unhealthy for the animals, officials reported in a city memo. The resurfacing project was approved by the City Council earlier this year.

During the closure Animal Shelter staff can be reached at the front counter of the Laguna Beach Police Department, 505 Forest Ave., to answer questions and issue licenses.
