Back to School Party for Low Income Children

Laguna Beach Back to School Party

No Square Theatre partners with the Woman’s Club Resource Center & the Exchange Club to present the annual Back to School party on Friday, August 17 at No Square Theater at 384 Legion Street.

The back to school party is for low income children who attend Laguna Beach Schools.  Donations can be dropped off at Legion Hall, No Square Theater.  Examples of supplies needed are new backpacks, highlighter pens, spiral notebooks, three ring binder & sharpies. Clothes and shoes are always welcome.

The Back to School Party provides essential educational supplies, as well as hygiene kits, underwear, socks, shirts and pullovers, to school-age children who are not able
to purchase the items on their own.

According to program director, Sande St. John, the event served about 75-100 kids with new items they'll need to
start school.

Annel Anaya, a mother of two, said last year was her first time at the event and she is thankful for the help because she could not do it on her own.
