little birds, and tips on what to do if you find a little lost or injured one.

Phenomenon: A Juried Exhibition of Environments for Game Art
Where/When: Ettinger Gallery, Laguna College of Art & Design, 2222 Laguna Canyon Rd. Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Why go: See emerging artists and professionals show off their renderings of video game environments, in both traditional and digital mediums as well as 2D and 3D. Pricing: Free.

 


Where/When: Crystal Cove State Park, 8471 N. Coast Hwy.; Saturday, 9 a.m.
Why Go: Enjoy a guided winter hike over a 3-5 mile backcountry trail.

Pricing: $15 day-use parking fee.

 


Where/When: Aliso Creek Inn, 31106 S. Coast Hwy.; Sunday, 6-10 p.m.
Why go: The Inn reopens its storied nine-hole golf course on Sunday. Enjoy a round and contribute to the revenues that will go towards the Laguna Relief and Resource Center.
