Free HIV Testing Sunday for World Aids Day
Free HIV testing will be offered Sunday at Main Beach in honor of World AIDS Day, the annual day of reflection in honor of those who have died of AIDS.
Members of the HIV Advisory Committee, AIDS Services Foundation, Laguna Beach Shanti, and Laguna Beach Community Clinic will be providing educational information, giving anonymous, free HIV testing and offering counseling from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Laguna Beach Community Clinic Tent.
The tents for private testing will be on the cobblestone area of Main Beach.

The test results will be available within 20 minutes.
Those who prefer to get an HIV test at the Laguna Beach Community Clinic can visit the facility on the following days and times.

- Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- No appointment is needed at either location.
The free HIV testing was made possible from a grant awarded by the Laguna Beach City Council.
A candle light ceremony will also be held at 5 p.m. Sunday on Main Beach.
