Meet Laguna Beach's New Marine Protection Officer

Laguna Beach has a new marine protection officer, and he's got some deep roots in town.

Jeremy Frimond 25, graduated Laguna Beach High in 2005 and spent seven summers watching out for swimmers and surfers as a city lifeguard. As part of his new gig, he'll be doing things like visiting schools and talking about the importance of preserving marine life to students, as well as enforcing the Marine Life Protection Act. In other words, don't even think of taking sea creatures out of the tide pools when he's around ...

Bryce Alderton has a profile on Frimond over on the Coastline Pilot's website, which you can read by clicking here.
