A new benefit for Marc Pitz and his family has been announced.
Pitz co-owns the cherished Laguna Beach restaurant Dizz's As Is. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year and has been undergoing treatment.
Family, friends and fans have rallied to his side, holding benefits like this past Monday's events at the Saloon and the Watermarc.
The next benefit is slated for Saturday, April 13, at the Laguna Beach Woman's Club (286 St. Ann's) at 6 p.m., featuring dancing, food, drinking, and music from the Blues Offenders. Tickets are $50 each.
