Land Artist Jim Denevan created an illuminated sand sculpture over the weekend at Main Beach, capturing the attention of locals and visitors.
With the help of Laguna Beach High School students, Denevan used only a stick and rakes to create the geometrical drawing that spanned the entire beach. Denevan traced the completed drawing with solar lanterns, which made the design light up after dark.
