Watch: Six Sea Lion Pups Released Back Into the Ocean

While the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach has been taking in record numbers of sick sea lions, this YouTube clip shows what the staff is always ultimately working to achieve: the day when the pinnipeds they rehabilitate are healthy enough to be released back into the big blue ocean.

This past Friday, a crew from the PMMC had one of their largest simultaneous sea lion releases ever -- six (count 'em!), a number that's clearly a reflection of the center's current population boom.
