Celebrate (or Totally Make Fun of) the '80s Today at Sawdust

Everybody Wang Chung tonight!

The Sawdust Festival celebrates the '80s all day today, with decade-appropriate hands-on art projects (ewww, hair scrunchies!), live '80s music (bring your earplugs in case of a Wang Chung infestation) and drink specials (wine coolers, perhaps?) at the Sawdust Saloon.

But we're confused. At the Sawdust Studio, they're holding a tie-dye workshop, while in the Children's Art Spot, they'll be crafting "rainbow" necklaces, both of which sure sound very '60s to us, or '70s at the very least. Unless ... it's somehow "'80s" to return to '80s-era '60s nostaligia?

In keeping with the day's theme, Ronald Reagan's embalmed corpse will be on display for souvenir photo-snapping (kidding! We kid!), and Huey Lewis will be manning the parking valet station, so be sure to tip generously, dude needs the cash. (Also kidding about Huey. We think.)
