James Verbicky's new series "Diffusion" represents all of these elements. A self-taught artist… James has no fear…always experimenting and pushing boundaries…the most amazing results into unchartered territory! Verbicky’s work is spontaneous…risk-taking…connected to nature…organic discoveries…evolved…transcending moments of contemporary life...all speak to the art that is James Verbicky!

“My latest series, the media paintings, bridge the gap between sculpture and painting by binding fragments of vintage media to one another, double-exposing language and image and melting them in upon themselves. JoAnne Artman Gallery is located at 326 N. Coast Highway in Laguna Beach and is open Wednesdays-Sundays from 11-5, and by appointment.
