The Garage at AR4T Gallery: Works by Brennan Coyle + Electric Coffin

On Aug. 2, 2012 (6-9pm) AR4T Gallery in Laguna Beach presents the artists reception and opening of The Garage, a duo art show that pays homage to the creativity born out of the all-American garage workshop. Works include paintings, restructured skate decks, and a mixed media 15 foot installation using reclaimed, recycled, repurposed wood/media. “The garage has been the starting point of numerous outcasts, serving as a catalyst for their invention. It began in an era inspired by rock 'n roll, fast cars and tattoos…ideals adopted by the blossoming skate and surf cultures,” say the artists. “We are part of this brotherhood.” Presented by Vans with live music by Old Scratch.
