LCAD ART EVENT AND AUCTION
Where/When: Laguna College of Art & Design, 2222 Laguna Canyon Rd. Sat., 5:30 p.m.
Why go: Check out the splendid pieces created by art students at the 22nd Annual Collector’s Choice Fine Art Event and Auction on the grounds of the college. Maybe you'll even win a raffled prize!
Price: Free to attend.

NATURE AWARENESS HIKE WITH GAMES TO PEAK YOUR CURIOSITY
Where/When: Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, 18751 Laguna Canyon Rd. Sun., 8-11 a.m.
Why go: Take a hike and learn about nature by naturalist and nature mentor Kimberly Leeds as she guides you through nature activities and games on a one-mile wilderness awareness hike.
Price: $2 donation. Parking fee: $3 per vehicle.

4TH ANNUAL MY HERO PROJECT FEST
Where/When: [seven-degrees], 891 Laguna Canyon Rd. Sun., 6 p.m.
Why go: Come out and  support this humanitarian project to honor the world’s everyday heroes through its free, globally-accessible website, which hosts hero-themed artwork, short films and stories from people around the world.

SALSA DANCING NIGHT
Where/When: Romeo Cucina Restaurant, 249 Broadway. Sun., 9 p.m.-close
Why go: Step into your dancing shoes and feel the salsa beat with the Ivan Marcello Band and enjoy dinner and dessert to round out your weekend.
