Laguna Beach Live Jazz Wednesdays Series Kicks Off This Week

The Latin Jazz Syndicate open a seven-concert series.

Led by trumpeter Bijon Watson, the Latin Jazz Syndicate opens the Jazz Wednesdays Winter Series presented by Laguna Beach Live! at Aliso Creek Inn on Wednesday January 16 , 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Formed to explore the fusion of Latin and World rhythms with the vast collection of American jazz standards, the Syndicate is an all-star group of musicians that have performed, recorded, or toured with artists such as Poncho Sanchez, Jose Rizo’s Jazz On The Latin Side All-Stars, Luis Miguel, and Dave Valentin, to name a few. The group’s infectious rhythms and boundless energy are showcased in its repertoire of contemporary arrangements and captivating original tunes.

Jazz Wednesdays Winter are in the new cabaret club of Aliso Creek Inn, 31106 South Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Cover charge starts at $12 online and can be made online at www.lagunabeachlive.org or by phone at 949-715-9713. A season ticket is also available online for $90.
