Last Week for the Art Festivals; Sawdust Closes Sunday

As the Sawdust Art Festival’s 47th annual season comes to an end, artists, exhibitors and staff prepare for the final week’s festivities. Over 200 Laguna Beach artists will celebrate the close of a great summer season on closing day Sunday, September 1. Highlights of the 2013 season’s final week include:

Subaru Raffle

Sunday, September 1 at 4pm – Visitors still have a chance to win a 2014 Subaru Forester! The final raffle drawing will take place at 4pm on the Main Entertainment Deck. Help support the Sawdust Art Education Programs and purchase raffle tickets and enter the chance to win. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. September Glassblowing!

As part of the year-round Sawdust Studio Art Classes program, students can take limited two-hour glassblowing classes during the month of September only. Students will experience a taste of what it is like to create a mini glass masterpiece using hot malleable glass straight from the kiln. Beginners are welcome. $250 per two-hour session per student.
