Official "Savages" Poster Revealed

The official promo poster for Oliver Stone's film Savages was revealed today.

Stone and a production crew took over several locations in Laguna Beach last September to film the project, which is based on author Don Winslow's crime novel of the same name, also set in Laguna.

Savages boasts an A-list cast that includes John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Blake Lively, Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Johnson, Benicio Del Toro, Salma Hayek, Emile Hirsch and Demian Bichir, who was nominated this year for a Best Actor Oscar for his role in A Better Life.

Universal had originally planned Savages for a September release, but they bumped it up to July 6 partially to capitalize off any exposure Kitsch gets from his starring roles in John Carter (which bombed big-time) and Battleship, which opens May 18.
