Hi, I'm Bernie, an 8-year-old Yorkshire Terrier mix. I was recently abandoned by my family, who moved out of town and left me in the backyard of our old house to survive on my own. Luckily, I was found by a neighbor and taken to , which has cared for me ever since.
I'm sweet as can be, but also super needy—I'm most comfortable when I have human company. I guess you could say I have abandonment issues. I hope to find a new family soon, and preferably one where a parent works from home or doesn't mind taking me along wherever they go. I also enjoy long walks and curling up in your lap.
