Looks Like the New Nekter Juice Place is Opening This Monday ...

The new Nekter Juice shop will open on Monday, Jan. 21, the Santa Ana-based company says in a news release.

The store at 272 Broadway—where the Golden Spoon frozen yogurt shop was for many years—will also have a grand opening celebration a few days later on Friday, Jan. 25, with planned $25 Nekter gift cards to the first 50 people, and free 16-ounce juices or smoothies for customers arriving from 7-11 a.m.

The store, which has seven other outlets including Dana Point, Newport Beach and Corona Del Mar, produces "fresh, cold-pressed green juice blends, RAW vegan smoothies, acai bowls and signature cleanses." The Laguna Beach location, says the release, will be "a slight departure from its predecessors with a Laguna-centric emphasis that includes a menu of 'Laguna-only' beverages coupled with a gallery displaying works by local artists."

Another Laguna Beach juice shop, Living Juice, is expected to move into the space in the Lumberyard previously occupied by the Laguna Beach Dog Company at 384 Forest Ave. later this year.
