Dog and Piggy Show Bow-Wows the Crowd at Annual Chili Cook-Off

Lots of doggies and a pot belly pig brought their humans to the animal institution fundraising event.

Fashion went to the dogs on Sunday as local costumed pooches paraded around Tivoli Too. To add to the festivities, eight culinary teams were hard at work creating the town's finest chili. The 16th Annual Laguna Beach Pet Parade and Chili Cook-Off brought out dozens of people who wanted to taste chili, show off their doggies, and see doggies in their finest garb.

The pups knew they were looking good. "Charlie" was sporting his best USC sweater, and "Romeo" was dressed up as a marionette puppet, and "Buddy" Williams wore his AYSO soccer jersey.

"My kids love the event," said Buddy's owner Sarah Williams. "They like seeing all the dogs, and they especially like dressing up our dog for the pet parade."
