Laguna Beach Resident Included on 2014-2015 Komen Orange County Board of Directors

Susan G. Komen Orange County has announced its 2014-2015 board of directors, including Laguna Beach resident Sol Reyes Roberts. 

Dedicated to the cause as a breast cancer survivor, Roberts benefited from Komen-funded medical advances during her own battle. She is a seven year survivor and, returns to the board of directors for the 2014-2015 year.

Through Komen community outreach programs, Roberts is able to advance breast health education and remains committed to helping others survive the disease.

The Komen Orange County board of directors spearheaded year-round initiatives in 2013-2014, including localized breast health outreach, low- or no-cost mammograms as well as major fundraising events such as the Pink Tie Ball and Race for the Cure®.
