Submitted by Saint Catherine of Siena Parish School:

WHAT:
In a tribute to the Laguna Beach heritage, each spring for the past decade, St. Catherine of Siena Parish School performs a Masters Pageant Show.   For one evening, the small school by the sea transforms itself into a gallery of live art and talent beyond compare.

This year’s show and exhibit promises to be no exception, with pieces from Grant Wood's “American Gothic” to Leonardo DaVinci's“Last Supper,” to Hokusai ‘s “Ryogoku Bridge” featuring Saint Catherine’s kindergarten and first grade classes.  The pageant operates each year under the direction of parent volunteers who continue to enrich the lives of students.  Their time and talent includes creation of the initial canvas, to lighting, costumes, make up and set design. Before the Pageant, visitors are welcomed to a student art exhibit, showcasing the top artistic talent of the school.  Food and drinks are available for purchase and donations are generously accepted at the door.
