Newport's Keith Curry Leading in 74th Assembly District

In the campaign to succeed Assemblyman Allan Mansoor in the 74th District, Republicans Keith Curry -- a Newport Beach councilman -- and Huntington Beach Mayor Matthew Harper are heading for the November election.

With 282 of 314 precincts reporting:

KEITH D. CURRY 11,356/27.3%
MATTHEW HARPER 10,176/24.5%
ANILA ALI 8,330/20.0%
KARINA "KARINA" ONOFRE 6,691/16.1% 
EMANUEL PATRASCU 5,014/12.1%

Keith Curry may be a Republican, but he is certainly not a conservative. His actions speak far louder than his words . . . . the new City Center ($140+ million), the bullet train, $68 billion and growing.

This guy was an arrogant, self serving official as Mayor of Newport Beach. Why would votes want to send him on? His spending on the Taj Mahal city hall alone should send warning flags up all over. His comment that citizens who objected to the pretentious city hall were "mediocre" should speak volumes
