Tim Walikis, doing work as [OMIT], is best known for producing woodworks with strong lines and bold modernist paintings, sometimes using his woodworks in combination with paintings. He was raised in New York and holds a BFA from the State University at Buffalo. Tim currently resides with his wife in San Diego. His work has been primarily exhibited throughout Southern California and New York.
Inspirations tend to be organic and architectural in nature. The pieces often look like they are at constant play between positive and negative space; dark and light.
