Laguna Beach Garden Club Meeting ~ Nan Sterman

"Aussie Among Us: Low Water Australian Plants for California Gardeners" 


Nan Sterman is an award winning gardening author, designer, and botanist who had dedicated her career since 1970 to create climate appropriate and sustainable gardens. She has written several books on the topic and has articles appear in the LA Times, Sunset, Better Homes and Gardens, and is regular water-wise columnists for the San Diego Union Tribune. She shares her gardening expertise on the radio and television programs such as San Diego’s KPBS “A Growing Passion” to air in May 2013. Check her informative website at www.plantsoup.com.


For club members and guests the meeting begins at 9:30am with a social half-hour, followed by a half hour business meeting.  Nan Sterman’s presentation will begin at approximately 10:30am.  There is no admission charge for first-time guests. All presentation handouts will be available on our website for you to view/print prior to the meeting, www.lagunabeachgardenclub.org

Before or after the meeting and presentation, please browse the outdoor 'Garden Boutique,’ where donated garden-related items can be purchased at "dirt-cheap" prices.


Please note the location of monthly meetings:  Laguna Beach Presbyterian Church, Tankersley Hall, 415 Forest Avenue at 2nd Street in downtown Laguna Beach.
