Annual Feast for Water Fundraiser to Be

Held Feb. 8 in Laguna
Beach, CA


Laguna
Beach—The 1st Annual Walking for Water and Healing Hands Feast for

Water Fundraiser, will be held Saturday, February. 8, from 5:30pm-7pm, at the

Neighborhood Congregational Church in Laguna Beach CA.


The
Feast is part of the 5th Annual Green Valentine Event, (www.greenvalentine.net) celebrating kids and teens as the next

generation of change makers in our world.

Currently in
Burkina Faso, villagers- usually women and children- must walk up to six hours
per day to collect clean water, which is representative of the


884 million

people world-wide who do not have access to safe water.

(WHO/WATERAID).

In conjunction with Feast for Water sponsor non-profit Wisdom Spring, (www.wisdomspringinc.org) which uplifts, honors and 

preserves the wisdom of indigenous cultures through programs of education,

travel, cultural, community and scientific exchange, the local student Clubs

are raising funds to build a well in Burkina Faso. Wisdom Spring’s Youth led

fundraisers have contributed to the construction of 30 wells in indigenous

communities in developing countries.


The Feast for Water Fundraiser is entirely student designed, planned and 

organized, and is co-sponsored by LIVING YOUR GIFTS, (www.livingyourgifts.com) a local Laguna Beach enterprise

who’s Groups, Workshops and Coaching empower individuals to find, live and

contribute their GIFTS to the world, and is proud to support the youth to find

their individual gifts within the various aspects of the community project.
