Young Rembrandts Art Around the World Workshop for Children (Ages 6-12)

Young Rembrandts believes everyone can and should learn to draw.  Join us this summer as we explore and create art from all around the world.  We begin our tour in Mexico as we draw
several welcoming, colorful doorways.  Next,
we journey to Africa and explore the design intricacies of African crafts.  As we travel the globe, we may encounter
ancient designs embraced by many cultures or create beautiful depictions of the
paper lanterns found in the Far East.  Our
travels end in Russia as we illustrate a mainstay of Russian architecture – the
onion dome.  Students create amazing,
beautiful works of art ready for framing. 
Pastels are colorful and messy so please dress appropriately.
