The Laguna Beach Animal Shelter received a "rather larger donation," this week, according to a city memo.
The check to the animal shelter was for $227,250 from the Honey Lu Percy Trust Fund. According to the city, Percy was a long-time friend of the Laguna Beach Animal Shelter and had adopted several cats as far back as 1979.
