World War II-Era Planes to Fly over Laguna Beach

Another reason to look to the skies on 4th of July in Laguna Beach.

The Condor Squadron, a group of veterans and their supporters manning World War II-era planes, will fly over Orange County beaches on 4th of July.

The San Fernando Valley-based group’s first flyover is at Angel Stadium. Then the four AT-6 aircraft will fly from Huntington Beach to San Clemente. Here’s the schedule:

  • City of Huntington Beach flyover will be from 6:05 to 6:10 p.m.
  • City of Newport Beach flyover will be from 6:10 to 6:15 p.m.
  • City of Laguna Beach flyover will be from 6:15 to 6:20 p.m.
  • City of Dana Point flyover will be from 6:20 to 6:25 p.m.
  • City of San Clemente flyover will be from 6:25 to 6:30 p.m.
