Ayn Rand "Fountainhead" House in South Laguna Sold to Mystery Buyer

The home on Ceanothus Drive had sat neglected for years.

The famed Halliburton House in South Laguna—also known as the Hangover House, partially because of all the parties it once hosted—has been sold for a reported $2.4 million. The buyer's name has not yet been revealed.

Originally built in the 1930s, the modernist home, located at 31172 Ceanothus Drive, is also reputed to have been the inspiration for the fictional Heller House that appears in Ayn Rand's novel The Fountainhead.

It had been unoccupied and in deteriorating condition for some time. For more details, click here.
