Birdwalk or Boardwalk

With a grip of strong Christmas blend in my hand I am walking again towards Main Beach. The music on my Shuffle is R. Stevie Moore "Show Biz is Dead" when I hit the Boardwalk.  The more coffee I sip and the more I like the music the faster I walk.  Not to say I am not looking at everything.  Great sites on a perfectly clear day.  Up ahead the Boardwalk is smothered with seagulls. They are up and down and all around, flying in and flying out.  So many that the boardwalk is blocked and impenetrable.  There is a man in a wheelchair feeding them from a huge see through plastic bag.  I'm not sure what it was, probably bread crumbs.  I have seen people feed birds but this was the biggest collection of flapping and nodding I've ever seen. Of course I had to divert into the grass to keep walking. My walks are entertaining and exercising.  As I continued on I yelled "you need a step ladder" at my friend and fellow KX93.5 host Eric Rankin who was across the street, beginning to hang a holiday banner at the Shakra Shack.  On my way back down the other side of the street the banner was up and Eric was gone.  When I got to Forest Ave or slightly before I looked down on the brick right at the front door of the Chantilly Ice Cream shop.  There was a bronze metal plate laid within the brick with engraved capital letters spelling RANKIN.
