Fire Department Giving Away Smoke Detectors

The Laguna Beach Fire Department is giving away 150 smoke detectors/carbon monoxide detectors as part of the "Prepare Southern California" awareness campaign.

If your home is lacking working smoke detectors, now's the time to contact the Laguna Beach Fire Department for a freebie that could save lives.

The fire department recently received 150 combination smoke detectors/carbon monoxide detectors from the county to be given out to the community. The smoke detectors, donated by Home Depot and KABC 7 News, are being distributed as part of the  “Prepare Southern California” public awareness campaign.

The smoke detectors will also installed by the Laguna Beach Fire Department.
