A man was arrested last week for allegedly assaulting another man at a bus stop in Laguna Beach, the Coastline Pilot reported.
Matthew Paul Benusa, 27, of Laguna Beach was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, the newspaper reported. The fight between the two men was reported on Friday around 4:10 p.m. at the bus depot on Broadway Street. The 44-year-old victim suffered a broken hip, police reported.
Police told the Coastline Pilot Benusa allegedly tried to rob someone at the bus stop, and a fight broke out when the 44-year-old man tried to step in and help the victim.
