No Injuries Reported in House Fire

A fire broke out early Monday at a Laguna Beach home, but no one was injured, authorities reported.

The fire was reported about 7:30 a.m. at a home in the 1600 block of Louise Street, the Laguna Beach Fire Department reported. When firefighters from Laguna Beach and Newport Beach arrived on scene, the residents were safely outside the home.

Firefighters had the blaze under control within 18 minutes, and kept it from spreading to other close-by homes. Authorities said the fire caused about $350,000 in damage to the house and another $30,000 in property loss.

The fire remained under investigation.
