Weird Object in Sky, Teen Robbed, Indecent Exposure

Recent incidents reported to the Laguna Beach Police Department.

Robbery
  • 12/6/13 - 6:30 p.m. - A teen told police he was robbed by a homeless man at the Village Mart, located in the 100 block of Coast Highway. According to a police report, the man pushed the teen, grabbed him and took money out of the teen's hand.
Burglary
  • 12/6/13 - 9:56 p.m. - The alarm to a home on Pacific Vista went off while the resident was home. The screen door appeared to be tampered with when the resident checked around the home.
Sighting
  • 12/7/13 - 2:29 a.m. - A report of a large ball of light above Laguna Terrace Park. Caller told police it looked like a meteor.
Indecent Exposure
  • 12/8/13 - 10:08 a.m. - A woman said she was walking to work on the 31800 block of Coast Highway when a man pulled down his pants and exposed himself to her. Caller later told police it was likely he was going to urinate, and was not exposing himself for sexual gratification.
Vandalism
  • 12/9/13 - 8:42 a.m.- A caller reported a Ford pickup truck parked in the 21600 block of Tree Top Lane being vandalized and having its windows smashed.
