QUIET!

Despite further complaints from neighbors regarding “bad-looking signs” and the logistics of warning those parking in the new zone, Mozambique’s neighborhood will now be quieter.

“We were facing a neighborhood crisis,” Mayor Toni Iseman said, “with neighbors objecting to noisy patrons at Mozambique.”

A problem had arisen there from not enforcing the conditional use permit for the nightclub part of the business, which is embedded in a residential area, according to councilmember Jane Egly.
