City Rolls Out Leaf Collection Program

Residents can now pile an unlimited amount of leaves curbside along with the green waste carts, city officials announced in a released statement.

The new Leaf Collection Program began at the beginning of the month, and will continue through Feb. 28. The program was made possible through a new franchise agreement between the city of Laguna Beach and Waste Management, according to the news release.

Residents who want to participate in the program should place the leaves in green waste bags, which must not exceed five feet in length or weigh more than 50 pounds, and place the bags next to or on top of the green waste cart.
