New city-sponsored art competitions have been announced by the Laguna Beach Arts Commision. Additionally, the deadline for the previously announced public bench competition is coming up quick.

2012 Artist Designed Bench Competition

Request for Qualifications: Deadline Friday, January 13.
Eligibility: Open to artists who live in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernadino and San Diego counties.

Honorarium: $15,000

2012 Art That's Small at City Hall
Pre-register by email through Tuesday, March 13.
Artwork must be delivered on March 17 from 9-11 a.m.
Eligibility: Entries will be accepted from residents of Orange County.
Honorarium: First place, $500. Second, $250. Third, $125. City Hall Choice, $50.

2012 Banner Competition
Deadline for designs: Monday, March 19.
Honorarium: $2,000.
Eligibility: Orange County reidents.
