AN AFTERNOON WITH ARIA MINU-SEPEHR

WHY GO? Laguna Beach Books welcomes Aria Minu-Sepehr, author of We Heard the Heavens Then: A Memoir of Iran. "Minu-Sepehr was raised in Iran in a world of privilege, as the son of a major general in the Shah’s Imperial Iranian Air Force. The author details his own life from two voices: From the young boy who grew up fast as his idyllic life became a constant fear the militia would invade his home, to the adult he has become today, shaped by his past. Minu-Sepehr details the country’s revolution through the lens of his own life, telling his stories from two perspectives and blending them throughout the book. ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT at the Laguna Beach High School Baseball Fields, Sunday at 1 p.m. The American Legion continues its 50-plus year tradition with the popular Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday. Kids 9 and younger are invited to bring empty Easter baskets and participate in the free activities. Arrive early for pictures with the Easter bunny.
