Get Out: What To Do This Weekend In Laguna Beach

Walk to raise awareness about bullying, hear reggae tunes at sunset, buy a beautiful painting of Laguna Beach, help restore native habitats, or get FIZZED.

INAUGURAL PEOPLE'S MARCH AGAINST BULLYING
WHERE/WHEN: Meet at Main Beach at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19. 
WHY GO? Join San Clemente High School students, congressional candidate Ron Varasteh, and the National Association of People Against Bullying to raise awareness about bullying. Walk from Main Beach to City Hall and listen to speakers including, Cool 2 Be Kind club president Victoria Mendez. Try to wear blue clothing. All are welcome. FIZ WITH HIS BAND
WHERE/WHEN: Ocean View Bar and Grill at Hotel Laguna, 425 S. Coast Highway, 8:30-11:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Oct. 19-20.

KEEP IT WILD VOLUNTEER DAY
WHERE/WHEN: Little Sycamore Canyon Staging Area/Nix Nature Center (west side of Laguna Canyon Rd.), 18751 Laguna Canyon Rd. 8-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20.
WHY GO? Join others in removing non-native plants so that native plants may thrive. You will have the opportunity to plant natives, too! Years from now, you can say, "Hey, that's my oak!" To register and for more information, click here.

PLEIN AIR ART SHOW AND SALE
WHERE/WHEN: Laguna Art Museum, 307 Cliff Dr. Sunday, Oct. 21, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
WHY GO? You've seen them painting all over town. Now you can see the plein air painters' art work, and even purchase your favorite canvas.
