We've Got Patriots Day Parade Pics!

Dragons and seals and nuns ... oh my! You never know what you'll see at the Laguna Beach Patriots Day Parade.

What a gorgeous day for a wonderful parade! The community came out in droves to downtown Laguna Beach on Saturday morning to watch the hoopla.

The purpose of the parade is to remind the community to "cherish and preserve the memory of those who sacrificed their lives that we might live in freedom and peace." Members of the United States Marine Corps participated in the parade, as well as city dignitaries, including Mayor Jane Egly.

Here are pix of goings-on before the parade. Enjoy!

Laguna is just the best isn't it?? I have always loved the freedom and diversity of Laguna. Growing up in Laguna made me a more tolerant and compassionate person and I'm really grateful for that. Just look at all these cool peeps!

Don't tell the people in Minneapolis that the weather was about 77 degrees (with low humidity, even by the sea). Otherwise, EVERYONE will want to move here. ~ Laguna Laughter Club (proudly frolicking in parade position #87).
