New Laguna Beach City Council Members And a New Mayor Tonight

Also, the infamous Social Host Ordinance is up for final approval.

Bob Whalen and Steve Dicterow, winners of last month's Laguna Beach city council election, will assume their chairs on the dais tonight, Tuesday, prior to the council's regular meeting.

It will also be the final appearance for defeated council members Verna Rollinger and Jane Egly.

Afterwards, it will be time for the council to select a new mayor and mayor pro tem for the upcoming year. Since seniority usually rules in the annual rotation, those titles will likely go to Kelly Boyd and Elizabeth Pearson—but anything can happen.
