September Sunset Serenade Schedule Set; More Credit Card Meters

City Hall Exhibition - On Monday, August 19, 2013 an exhibition featuring the work of artists participating in Artist Open Studios will be installed at City Hall. The exhibit will feature the work of Hedy Buzan, Elaine, Cohen, Lydia Delgado, Lani Emmanuel, Michael, Ervin, Paul Gardner, Sandy Groves, Louis Longi, Lorenzo, Sheryl Seltzer, Maggie Spencer, Muffin Spencer – Devlin, Tom Swimm, Cheyne Walls, Cliff Wassmann and Deborah Weinstein. This exhibition can be viewed through October 18, 2013. This program is funded by the lodging establishments and City of Laguna Beach.

September Sunset Serenades - The Arts Commission will be presenting four free concerts in September at the amphitheater in Heisler Park. The concerts will be held every Friday evening in September starting at 5:30 p.m.

More Credit Card Parking Meters Coming - Forty-five percent of the City’s 2,048 parking meters have been converted from coin-only meters to credit card meters over the past few years. Beginning next week, the remaining 1,120 coin-only meters will be converted to credit card meters. The work will take less than two weeks to complete.

Moulton Meadows Park Irrigation Pump Replacement – The existing broken irrigation pump at Moulton Meadows Park has been replaced, and the new pump is now operational.  The replacement pump has been designed to work with the new irrigation system that will be installed when the park is renovated next year.
