What Are Those Big Ugly Trailers Doing At Main Beach Park?
Get used to them, they're going to be around awhile ...
This past Tuesday marked the day when the city got back to being normal (well, Laguna Beach-style normal, anyway), with the art festivals over, the kids back in school, and parking suddenly plentiful.
So with the crowds gone, work crews are preparing to begin , eventually replacing it with spiffy new digs.
The first phase of this project involves putting up a temporary headquarters, which is what those big, ugly trailers on Main Beach will soon be.

Get used to looking at them—they'll be around until January 2014, when the new 6,722-square-foot lifeguard HQ will be operational.
