Who'll Speak for the Bluebird Canyon Eucalyptus Trees?

An arborist's report says they need only be trimmed, not removed like SoCal Edison wants.

A Tustin arborist privately hired by a group of Bluebird Canyon residents says that five eucalyptus trees slated for removal instead need only a good trimming, which goes against Southern California Edison's claim that the trees are a potential electrical hazard.

Edison will update the City Council on the status of the trees at tonight's (Tuesday's) meeting. Last month, the council voted to endorse Edison's removal plan, so one way or another, this issue is clearly evolving. For the full story, click here.
