Non-news flash: Laguna Beach is expensive. But hey, it got us mentioned in Forbes!

Laguna Beach has landed on the Forbes magazine list of America's Most Expensive ZIP Codes.

Our lovely 92651 has earned us the distinction of being the 64th priciest region in the country. You can read the details here, and for the complete list, click here.

Forbes looked at prices in more than 22,000 ZIP codes from June 28 through Sept. 28 and looked at the median asking price for single-family homes and condominiums. The analysis was limited to ZIPs where 10 or more residences were on the market.

According to the magazine's analysis, the median home price during the survey period in Laguna Beach's 92651 'hood was $1,724,264—a median price change that actually fell by 12.5 percent over last year.

A home, on average, remains on the market in this area of the city for 200 days, and at the time of the survey, there were 214 properties listed.

The most expensive home was listed at $24 million.
