Breakers' Boys Basketballers are Champs Once Again
The playoff-bound team ends the regular season at 21-6, undefeated in league play.
The Laguna Beach High Breakers' boys' basketball squad won their seventh straight Orange Coast League championship Thursday night at Dugger Gym, trouncing Costa Mesa by a final score of 62-33.
The team went undefeated through league play, going 10-0, the first LBHS squad since 1953 to hit that monumental mark, and only the third undefeated league championship in school hoops history. Their overall record this season is 21-6.
The Breakers move on to the playoffs next.
