ORIGINAL POST: The Laguna Beach High football Breakers start their postseason quest for a CIF championship tonight at 7 p.m. at Guyer Field when they go up against Anaheim's Loara High.

On paper, the team shouldn't have a problem moving on to the second round next week against the winner of the Northwood-Rancho Alamitos game. The Breakers went undefeated this year for the first time since 1968, compiling a 9-0-1 record.

Loara, meanwhile, somehow earned a playoff berth with a paltry three wins against seven losses.

Still, in football as in life, anything can happen.
